I was just wondering if there was any difference in the EVA DVD's and the videos, other than the biligual and the profiles and stuff. Is it uncut aswell or something like that?

Is this the same thread you posted about Nadesico?
No, there is no difference between the two other than the obvious dvd extras and so on. Personally i'd get the DVD's just because DVD's are far superior to VHS, but if money's an issue. Get the vids.

Dreaming of that face again. It's bright and blue and shimmering. Grinning wide and comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes. On my back and tumbling down that hole and back again rising up and wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye...

Well there are 13 Eva videos and 8 DVDs. What sounds more appealing?
Edit
Damn grammar.

Yeah it pretty much is the same post as my Nadesico one. Hehehe. Well I got all my EVA vids before they came out on DVD and I was just wondering if there was any point selling my videos and getting the DVD's but if theres no difference I might not bother.

Better quality video, 8 DVD instead of 12 Vids.. Plus DVDs just look better on a shelf ^_^

You will be able to get rid of the vids on ebay fairly eaisly..

Trunk's Girl got a point there, you can't not watch eva in Japanese

(this coming from a person who only has the vhs dub and will not bother to by the DVD's anytime soon, but has a vcd version in Japanese with Chinese sub which he can't read but it's of no importance because he nearly knows all the lines by heart in English )

Get the discs. At least you can get a snazzy box(cardboard or metal) from the US to house them in. Metal one looks really nice!

Just fixing up your unclosed quote UBBTags.. you seem to be doing that quite often. o.O - Shin
